Heal, Reflect, Learn: Memorialize the Movement
When it became clear that there was no plan for preserving the plywood murals made by protesters and mourners in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, Leesa Kelly took on the responsibility of collecting as many as she could. Watch this story and see how the Minneapolis Foundation supported Memorialize the Movement, the organization she started, so that the Black and Brown stories told through the murals would not be lost.
